Some of our Year 5 children have began the Scholars Programme this year and were thrilled to be invited to a launch event at Jesus College, the University of Oxford.
The children have discussed all about the Scholars Programme considering what Griffin Leaning Behaviours they may need to show throughout their time on this project (including perseverance, resilience and wisdom).
They have had a delicious lunch and are enjoying a tour of the centre of Oxford and the university itself observing some of the major buildings like the Bodilean and the Radcliffe Camera. We hope that this will develop their aspirations for the future as they learn more about university and what this entails!
