Our Year 4 Griffins had an enjoyable, informative day discovering life in Roman Britain. They took part in an interactive workshop with Boudicca, leader of the Inceni Tribe. They also became archeology detectives, where they were able to group and classify some Roman artefacts. The third activity of the day was a Roman Ramble. The children went on a ramble across the battlefield, where they found out more information about the battle and the evidence that was left behind.
The children behaved beautifully. We were extremely proud of them all and it was lovely to see them sharing their knowledge of the Romans throughout the day!
