Today was the first visit of many that the Art Ambassadors took to visit residents at a local retirement village in Bedworth.
They were greeted with enthusiasm by both staff and residents who waited eagerly for their arrival. Once the tables were set up, the children explained to the residents that sat with them what they were going to be doing. They demonstrated each step and even helped those less mobile to do them and be involved with the art activity.
Together with the residents, the children chatted, as they made wonderful firework images using paints and glitter before eating their lunches together. They finished off their time there with a spooky dance to The Monster Mash, before returning to school. We hope they had a wonderful time!
