TeamLily registered as a charity last month after a year of fundraising to gain charity status. The aim of the charity is to make a huge difference to the lives of disabled children and their families. The event manager developed the charity following inspiration around their daughter, Lily, who was unable to access necessary equipment to assist with her disabilities due to the ever tightening restrictions on the NHS.
Since this began, they have offered funding for equipment as well as recommending services and offering the support and advice needed to families who are struggling. Their website is in the process of being set up and would then be able to advertise small business that offer bespoke services for disabled children and their families.
