We are thrilled to share that Park Lane has been awarded 3 gold awards for the academic year: the Youth Sport Trust award, School Games award and the Safe and Active Travel award. Below is a little more information about what they recognise:
Youth Sport Trust – The Quality Mark which provides schools with a nationally recognised badge of excellence for the quality of its PE and school sport.
School Games – The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward and recognise schoolâs engagement (provision and uptake) in the School Games against a national benchmark and to celebrate keeping young people active, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.
Safe and Active Travel – The Safe and Active Travel Schools programme brings together Road Safety Education lessons with active travel. We have been praised for the work we do with Griffins and families to encourage children to travel so school safely and actively.
Miss Davies has played a pivotal role in all 3 awards so a huge thank you to her for all of her hard work surrounding these! What a fantastic end to the academic year!
