Our Proud Tradition returns to Park Lane: Challenge 26!
Each April, a School/Trust Leader from within GST runs the London Marathon on behalf of the Trust’s chosen charity. Established as a Proud Tradition in 2017 by Ange Tyler, the challenge has now been completed by two school Heads and a PE lead: inspired by the 26.2 mile marathon, Trust Schools will take part in Challenge 26. Students set themselves a sporting challenge involving the number 26.
This year, Park Lane will be taking part in the Park Lane Fun Run: Griffins and their Families will be invited to walk/run together for 26 minutes on Wednesday 22nd May, wearing their house colour. The chosen charity that we will be raising money for is Cancer Research: all children will receive a sponsorship form where we hope to raise money for such a charity that is close to many of our hearts. This will be coming home with your child today.
