Information from our artist-
‘I was born in Scotland and lived there for most of my life, up until the age of 15.
The transition from Scotland to England at such a young age was hard for me. My art continued throughout this as it was a way of coping with this big change. Throughout this time, I focused on my identity and this was shown across some of my portfolio work going through art school.’
‘When I was younger, I loved all aspects of art and design, my mother was a huge inspiration for me. As an Ex-Art Teacher, her creativity and passion was passed down to me. As mentioned above, I went to art school for a couple of years and began to find what my passion was within the Arts and it turns out I’m quite diverse in my art work! From contemporary work to realistic painting.’
‘My current style of work lies in realism painting focused on animal portraits. This bring so much joy to me, to be able to have the opportunity to create art work for people where it be a gift for a loved one, a painting of their own pet or a pet that has passed. Capturing elements of the animals’ emotions in their eyes to the smile of their face, it’s very special.’
