Year 6 RAF Cosford Experience

By 7 March 2025March 11th, 2025No Comments
The Year 6 trip to RAF Cosford was an absolutely thrilling adventure: from the moment we arrived, the children were buzzing with excitement as they explored an impressive array of British and German WWII planes, including the iconic Spitfire. One of the highlights was experiencing the chilling sound of an air raid siren during a blitz workshop, which truly brought history to life.
The children also had the fantastic opportunity to use various artefacts to create an engaging performance for their peers, showcasing their creativity and teamwork. Throughout the day, the Year 6 children displayed their Griffin Learning Behaviours beautifully, demonstrating curiosity and respect while exploring the exhibits. They represented the school admirably, making us all proud. This experience not only deepened their understanding of history and the impact of war but also enriched their learning in the most effective way possible.
What a day to remember!
