The Year 4 and 5’s have had a fabulous first day: kayaking, archery, problem solving, abseiling and the leap of faith! After a delicious dinner, they played a tournament of team games with the whole cohort! Mr Such’s Team may have taken first place (only just!)
All children went to bed and slept through the night after a very busy first day. This morning, our Year 4 and 5 Griffins have enjoyed some climbing activities. After some soggy weather, the children moved indoors to take part in some problem solving tasks moving sticks to create certain shapes and then also designing and making kites to protect a flying egg.
Following lunch, our Griffins have continued to have a very busy day including further activities such as archery, problem solving challenges, abseiling and even a quick visit to the onsite shop – Haribo, slinkies and a few souvenirs are definitely proving popular items!
