Year 3 Camping Adventure: One to Remember!

What an amazing overnight camping experience our Year 3 pupils had! The children truly embraced the great outdoors, diving straight into the fun by pitching their own tents. They enjoyed a fantastic time trying their hand at archery and developing their team-building skills – teamwork does make the dream work!
Dinner was a highlight, featuring delicious burgers and hotdogs, which fuelled their energy for a lively evening. 🍔🌭 The night ignited with a silent disco, where everyone danced like nobody was watching! 💃🪩 As the stars twinkled above, the fun continued with a game of hide and seek, followed by roasting marshmallows over the campfire. What a lovely way to wind down before heading to their tents for some much-needed rest!
The early morning brought the inevitable task of taking down the tents and the classic challenge of squeezing their sleeping bags back into those tiny bags they came from.. But the spirit was high, especially when they were rewarded with a scrumptious breakfast of bacon and eggs.
To top it all off, we held a bush-tucker trial where some brave souls surprised us all by munching on a cricket.
What an unforgettable adventure for our Year 3s: they showed bravery, kindness and fully embraced all that the experience was – they should be so proud of themselves!! 🌟
