Year 1 Trip to the ThinkTank Museum!

Our Year 1 children had a fantastic day out at the ThinkTank Museum!
They began their visit with an exciting workshop all about our bodies and the five senses, discovering how we see, hear, taste, touch, and smell the world around us. Afterwards, they explored the museum’s fascinating zones, learning more about how our bodies work, the amazing animals we share the planet with, and the world around us.
A definite highlight of the day was our time in MiniBrum!  The children loved stepping into the shoes of grown-ups — working in shops, building houses, pretending to be doctors, and exploring lots of different jobs through imaginative play. It was wonderful to see their creativity and teamwork shine!
We finished our adventure in the Science Garden, where the children discovered how different mechanisms and water works operate — all while having loads of hands-on fun!
Every child represented our school beautifully, showing exemplary Griffin behaviours throughout the day. We are so proud of how curious, kind, and engaged they were.
