Our Griffins have had an unforgettable few days at Whitemoor Lakes Activity Centre, making memories, building confidence and taking on exciting new challenges during their residential trip.
From the moment they arrived, the children threw themselves into a packed programme of adventurous activities. Across the three days, they tackled climbing, abseiling, zip wire, fencing, fire lighting and a range of problem-solving and teamwork challenges. One highlight from the first day was the Gladiator challenge, where Finley, Joseph and Chloe impressed everyone by reaching the top with confidence and determination.
Evenings were just as exciting, with Extreme Team Games bringing out plenty of competitive spirit, teamwork, laughter and cheering. The trip also included a wonderful campfire evening, giving everyone the chance to relax, reflect and enjoy time together after busy days of adventure.
Blessed with glorious March sunshine, the children made the most of every moment, showing fantastic enthusiasm, resilience and support for one another throughout. Whether working together to solve challenges, attempting to create the longest line, or encouraging friends to conquer fears, our Griffins represented the school brilliantly.
As they head home, we are sure they will return with lasting memories, stronger friendships and plenty of stories to tell. A huge thank you to our staff for their support and enthusiasm, and to Whitemoor Lakes Activity & Training Centre for hosting such a fantastic residential experience.
