The black and gold kit was in full flow last week as various Griffins were proudly given the opportunity to represent Park Lane.
We had a range of events including the Warwickshire Hub Boccia and Kurling competition and the Year 3 and 4 football match – both against our sister school within the Griffin Schools Trust, Race Leys.
Our Boccia and Kurling won their matches and will now go through to the National finals. Our Year 3 and 4 football team were up against a really strong opposition and unfortunately, lost their match. The boys all showed great determination and passion during the game which was great to see. Both teams did amazingly well so well done all!
Also, what a performance by our year 5 football team! They started off with winning 3 of the group stage matches, not conceding any goals, and then went through to the semi finals where they came up against a very strong side. Overall, the Year 5 team finished 3rd place.Well done to Poppy and Darcie, our lionesses, for making their debut alongside the boys. Absolutely fantastic effort by all – we are very proud of you!
