Some of our Year 5 and 6 Griffins were able to attend a culinary masterclass at Pizza Express in Tamworth this morning. It started with a question and answers session about the ingredients they were using before preparing their very own pizza dough using kneading and stretching. The children then were able to add their topping to make the ultimate Margherita pizza!
Whilst their pizzas cooked in the ovens, they were able to enjoy a further topping taster session. All children (as well as Miss Edwards and Mrs Thirde) thoroughly enjoyed their pizza making session – the best part being to have eat their delicious creation later in the day. We hope our Griffins enjoyed themselves!
