Today, our Year 3, 4 and 5 pupils were treated to an inspiring performance from two professional dancers from the world-class circus dance company, #MotionHouse. Performing a captivating duet, they demonstrated exceptional skill, strength and creativity, leaving our children amazed and fully engaged from start to finish.
It was particularly powerful for our pupils to see male dancers excelling at such a high level, helping to challenge stereotypes and broaden their understanding of what is possible through dance and performance.
The energy and enthusiasm in the room were incredible, with children responding with curiosity, excitement and thoughtful questions about the performers’ journeys and training.
We are delighted that this is just the beginning of our partnership. Year 3 pupils will now take part in weekly workshops with the company across the summer term, giving them a fantastic opportunity to develop new skills, build confidence and express themselves creatively.
Experiences like this play a vital role in raising aspirations and widening horizons for our children and we look forward to seeing the impact of this journey over the coming weeks!
