The Mini Griffins children had a wonderful time on their farm trip, where they enjoyed exploring the farm and learning about a variety of animals. The children listened carefully to the farmers’ instructions and demonstrated excellent listening skills as they learned which animals were safe to feed. As we walked around the farm, the children took great care and enjoyed spotting cows, pigs, sheep, ducks and goats.
The children were also given the opportunity to gently pet some of the smaller animals. Together, we talked about how the animals felt, what they liked to eat, and what they need to stay healthy and alive. The trip provided a fantastic hands-on learning experience, encouraging the children to develop their understanding of the natural world while building their confidence, communication skills, and respect for living things.
