We are thrilled to share with our families that we have maintained and secured our Arts Mark gold award. After hard work from our Griffins, arts leads and teachers across the school we are extremely pleased to be recognised for the efforts, dedication and successes at Park Lane.
Some of the feedback provided by our assessors stated:
“You clearly have a long-term commitment to arts and culture which is beginning to have measurable effects on staff and pupils. All pupils can access a consistent range of arts and cultural provision with local arts and cultural organisations, in school and on visits outside the classroom, which leads to showcasing in school. There is extra-curricular activity. There is SLT and governor support, and the arts are a driver in school values and planning. It’s great to hear about entering needlework into the Nuneaton Festival, your pupil voice surveys, work with secondary students around dance, and community cafe. Your Junior Arts Ambassador team is great for pupil voice, and great that they have a hand in curriculum design, alongside Yr4 doing Arts Award. You have seen staff confidence increase through the Voices Foundation CPD for music, the RSC for oracy, and internal trust, or school, wide support for other artforms. It’s great that you have access to specialist skills within the trust.”
