We are thrilled to share with our families our plans for our eighth annual Founders Day on Friday 3rd March.
This year’s trust-wide theme is ‘Family’ so throughout the day children will be encouraged to think about what family means to us; how our families are similar and different to one another; how we play a part in the GST family as a whole; and how we extend our family into the local community.
This year, we will be completing some fundraising activities where each class will enter a competition to raise the most money – a prize will be provided for the winning class. The money raised will go towards purchasing a defibrillator for our local community. Keep a look out on Seesaw over the upcoming weeks regarding your child’s plans for this and how you can get involved.
As well as this, during the day itself, we would love to invite our families to join us for a coffee morning between 9 and 11am. You can come along to enjoy some delicious cake and a warm drink alongside your children who can be collected from class. We will again be asking for donations towards our defibrillator purchase for this and hope many of our families will join us!
