For Founders Day, every year group has taken part in some kind of fundraising event to contribute towards our community defibrillator purchase. Year 6 decided they wanted to set up a football match – Teachers v Y6 Griffins – and raised their money by charging for tickets to attend this unmissable event.
After organising a world-class ref (our very own Mr Cove) and getting the teams organised – with a little persuading for some of the teachers – the match took place Friday afternoon.
After a gruelling match, the teachers managed to clench the win!
Well done to Year 6 for their organisational skills and to all players for being good sports! Maybe the children need a rematch at the end of the year… 🤔
