Our Year 5 Griffins attended a fire safety workshop with Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service on Monday afternoon, where they learnt all about the rules of fire safety. They were taught strategies explaining what to do should a fire start in their home and how to check smoke alarms to ensure their house is safe.
As well as this, the children were set a task to identify hazards in the home such as electric cables on the bed and open flames. Our Year 5’s all listened carefully and developed their own skills/ knowledge in this field.
