Congratulations to our fantastic boys’ and girls’ basketball teams who proudly represented Park Lane at the Warwickshire Hub Competition! First up, our girls played an outstanding match against Race Leys, showing great teamwork and determination to secure an impressive 8–2 victory in a highly competitive game.
The boys then took to the court against Race Leys in a thrilling match that went right down to sudden death! After trailing 9–2 at half-time, the team showed incredible resilience and spirit to stage an amazing comeback, eventually winning 12–10.
We are incredibly proud of both teams for their hard work, sportsmanship, and determination. As a result, they have both qualified for the National Finals at the end of June, where they will represent the Warwickshire Hub at the Griff National Finals.
A special thank you to Coach Boby for his dedication, encouragement, and support throughout training and on competition day. Your commitment has played a huge part in the teams’ success, and we are very grateful for everything you do.
