This morning some of our Year 4 and 5 Griffins visited the Nuneaton Academy for a Go Green Conference. We discussed Eco Clubs in schools, climate change, waste and where it goes and future careers in green industries. We also explored how we can make a change in our schools to provide a greener environment. We had the opportunity to create our own eco bricks which is a fantastic solution for tackling plastic waste and something our Griffins thoroughly enjoyed doing.
We found this whole conference very fitting with our trust wide theme of ‘change makers’ this year and our children have came away with some fantastic plans for next academic year. Keep a look out for the development of our eco club
